Brainspotting for Trauma Processing

How does this look?

Brainspotting is a unique form of therapy that uses eye positions (“brainspots”) to help access and process trauma. Brainspotting works for everyone and can be used on it’s own or with other modalities. Every brainspotting session looks different, and your needs during the session will guide the direction that it goes. There is no right or wrong way for you to participate.

How can therapy help?

Brainspotting may be used for:

  • Trauma

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Relational issues

  • In support of other therapy modalities

  • Adoption related questions/stressors

  • More

What is brainspotting with me like?

Brainspotting is always collaborative. We move at a pace that feels safe, paying attention to your body's natural capacity for healing.

Some sessions involve more talking, while others involve quietly noticing thoughts, emotions, or physical sensations as your brain processes what has been held beneath the surface.

Fees/Insurance

Though I currently only offer self-pay services, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, though this varies by plan (I encouraged you to check with your provider first).

I am in the process of credentialing with several insurance plans, so if you’d like to use insurance, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask about plans to accept it in the future.

How do I get started?

If you're wondering whether we're a good fit, I'd love to meet with you for a free consultation.
