Therapy for Couples
How does this look?
Couples therapy can offer a place to reconnect, increase mutual understanding, and forge a way forward on the same page. Through skill development, exploration of communication patterns, and clarify what is important within your relationship.
The goal is not to eliminate conflict, but to find ways to manage it that feel open, honest, empowering, and productive.
How can therapy help?
Together we might work to:
Better manage conflict
Increase trust
Identify unhelpful communication patterns
Strengthen intimacy
Improve communication
What is it like to work with me?
My work with couples focuses on connection, communication, and conflict management. I apply principles from the Gottman Method as well as attachment-focused and trauma-informed approaches.
Through the use of assessments, exercises, and effort in and out of session, my goal is to empower you and your partner to reconnect around the things that are important to you and find ways to productively explore conflict without creating distance.
Fees/Insurance
Though I currently only offer self-pay services, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, though this varies by plan (I encouraged you to check with your provider first).
I am in the process of credentialing with several insurance plans, so if you’d like to use insurance, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask about plans to accept it in the future.
How do I get started?
If you're wondering whether we're a good fit, I'd love to meet with you for a free consultation.
