How does this look?
Adoption isn’t a one-time event, but a lifelong experience that impacts us differently throughout our lives. No matter where you are in your understanding of your adoption or what you’re experiencing that lead you to reach out, adoption-focused therapy can help bring about understanding by filtering what you’re experiencing through the unique lens of the adoptee experience.

My goal is to bring about changes in the areas you’ve identified at the intersection of understanding your story and feeling empowered in how you move forward.
What is it like to work with me?
My identity as an adoptee is central to the work I do, and a big part of why I do what I do. I’ve experienced the gap in adoption competence myself in therapy and seek to create a space where you don’t need to explain the ins and outs of adoption again- I get it, so we can focus on you.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and trauma- and adoption-informed. I utilize an eclectic mix of modalities to meet your unique needs, and I view you as the expert on your experience.
Fees/Insurance
Though I currently only offer self-pay services, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, though this varies by plan (I encouraged you to check with your provider first).
I am in the process of credentialing with several insurance plans, so if you’d like to use insurance, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask about plans to accept it in the future.
